Integrations
Accounts and regions
You connect a seller account, the integration finds the regions that account sells in, and each region has its own listings and its own currency.
An account is one seller account you authorized, and a region is one place that account sells. One Amazon seller account is an account, and each Amazon marketplace it sells in is a region under it. On Shopify a region is one of your markets, and on BigCommerce it is one of your storefronts.
The region is the level that does the work, because it is what actually syncs. Every listing the Repricer prices comes in through a region, and it is priced in that region’s own currency. So one Amazon account selling in the United States and in Mexico gives you two sets of listings. One is in dollars and one is in pesos, and they are counted apart everywhere in the app.
You come to this screen to see what you have connected and to change it. This is where you stop repricing a region or a whole account, rename an account, reconnect one that lost its authorization, or remove one for good. Click Integrations in the left sidebar and you get a grid of square cards, one per integration. Everything on this page happens inside the dialog that opens over the page when you click a card.
Before you start
What your role lets you do
Integrations is not in your sidebar at all below Admin, and typing its address sends you back to Home. So a teammate who cannot find Integrations is one role short, and that is the answer rather than a missing page. Roles are set in team, roles and permissions.
Deleting an account cannot be undone
Deleting an account removes its listings, their pricing history, its market data, the competitor addresses you typed in, and the strategies built for its regions. Nothing brings any of it back.
How to open an account
Open the Integrations page
Click
Integrationsin the left sidebar. You get a grid of square cards, one per integration, grouped into sections such asOnline StoresandMarketplaces.Click the card you want
A card you have connected opens a dialog with three numbers in it, labeled
Accounts,ListingsandSynced.Click Manage accounts
Manage accountsis the one line under those three numbers. It opens the list of accounts you have on that integration.Click the account you want
Each row in that list is one account, with its name and a line under it counting what is inside. Clicking anywhere on the row opens the account itself.
Read its regions
The account dialog lists regions in two groups,
Active regionsfor the ones that are on andAvailable regions, dimmed, for the ones that are off. Each row has a switch on the right.
That is the whole path, and it is the same every time. The switch on a region row is what starts and stops repricing on it. Back in the bottom left of the dialog takes you up one level at a time.
Everything below explains that dialog one part at a time. You do not need any of it to find an account or flip a switch.
Every option in detail
The three levels you are working with
Everything on this screen is one of three things, and each one is a level under the one before it.
You can connect as many accounts on one integration as you have, and each keeps its own regions, its own listings and its own name. Every region is under exactly one account, and you never create one yourself.
Reading the accounts list
The accounts list gives you one row per account. Reading a row from left to right, you get the account’s name, a line counting what is inside it, and then either a switch or a badge on the right.
An account showing a badge instead of a switch cannot be paused or resumed, because nothing on it is running. When you have no accounts at all the list reads No accounts connected yet., and the button at the bottom reads Connect account instead of Add another account.
Turning an account on or off
The switch on the right of a row in the accounts list moves that account between repricing and paused. Turning it off stops the reading and the writing for every region under it. Nothing is deleted, no setting is lost, and turning the switch back on starts the account again.
A second switch does the same thing to every account on the integration at once. It is in the header of the dialog you get from the card, on the right of the integration’s name. It only moves accounts that are already healthy, so one that needs reconnecting or that failed is left where it is.
Your listings tell you when this is what stopped them. Every listing on a paused account reads Not working, and the reason on it is Channel region disabled. Listing statuses has the rest of that list.
Turning a region on or off
The switch on the right of a region row decides whether the Repricer reads and prices that region at all. The regions that are on are listed under Active regions at the top of the account dialog, and the ones that are off are under Available regions beneath it, dimmed. Flipping a switch moves the row between the two groups.
Turn a region off and three things stop for it: no listings come in, no competitor prices are read, and nothing is repriced. Your listings stay where they are, and so do their prices.
Turn a region on and the Repricer starts reading it within 10 minutes. The first time any region is switched on it also gets a strategy of its own, marked as the default. That way a listing never comes in with nothing to price it. Strategies covers what that strategy does and how to replace it.
Both switches are dead while an account needs reconnecting or has failed. Fix the connection first and the region rows come back.
Turn a region off instead of pausing the account when you sell in more than one country and want to keep pricing one of them. Pause the account when you want everything on that seller account to stop at once.
Where your regions come from
You never pick a region. Each integration works out where you sell and creates the rows for you on the day you connect.
Every row has a country flag and the region’s name on it. A row that is off shows its web address underneath as well, which is how you tell amazon.com from amazon.ca before you switch either one on.
Why a Walmart region you switched off comes back on by itself
A Walmart connection uses one set of credentials for every country, and Walmart answers a call about a country you are not registered in by rejecting it. So the Repricer cannot tell a country you left from one you were never in. It asks again every 12 hours, and any country it can reach is created or switched back on.
That means a Walmart region you switched off yourself is switched back on within 12 hours. To stop pricing one Walmart country and keep the others, pause repricing on those listings with bulk actions instead.
What happens when you start selling somewhere new
On Walmart the new country turns up on its own, within 12 hours, already switched on.
Everywhere else the new region comes in with the next read of the account, which is never more than 10 minutes away. A Shopify market you add, a BigCommerce storefront you create, an Amazon marketplace you enroll in: each one becomes a row here without you doing anything. An Amazon marketplace you were never enrolled in was already a row under Available regions, so enrolling only changes what the Repricer can find there.
Renaming an account
Rename is in the top right of the account dialog, beside the account’s name. Click it and the name turns into a box you can type in, up to 100 characters, with Save and Cancel next to it. Enter saves and Escape cancels.
The name is yours alone. It is never sent to the integration, and it changes nothing about what syncs or what gets priced.
An account you never rename keeps the name it was given when you connected it, and that name comes from the integration. Shopify and BigCommerce give you your store’s own name, Square your business name, and eBay your user name. Amazon and Walmart give you the last 4 characters of the seller ID in parentheses.
Reconnecting an account
Reconnect is in the bottom right of the account dialog, and it is only there when the authorization expired or was revoked. That is the recoverable case, and the account dialog says so at the top under Reconnection required, with a line naming what happened.
An account that failed permanently gets no Reconnect at all. It shows Account deactivated instead, and the way forward is to delete it and connect a new one.
What clicking Reconnect does depends on the integration.
It has to be the same account. Authorizing a different store or a different seller account is rejected, and the message says so.
A reconnect does not turn your regions back on. It restores the authorization and leaves everything else alone. Some connection failures switch every region off on the way down, so open Available regions once you are back and turn on the ones you want.
Disconnecting an account
Delete is the red button in the bottom right of the account dialog. It opens a dialog that counts the listings and the regions it is about to remove. Before the button works it asks you for two things: the account’s name typed exactly, and the word DELETE in a second box.
Disconnecting a Shopify store does not remove your app from it. The app is yours, so it stays installed. Uninstalling it in your Shopify Admin disconnects the store too, and Repricer is told and removes the account for you.
Deleting the last account on an integration puts you back on that integration’s own dialog, which offers you Connect Account again the way it did before you had one.
Limits
What you cannot do here
When something goes wrong
What a broken connection does to your regions
A connection that stops leaves your regions in one of two states, and nothing on screen tells you which.
So an account that stopped on its own reprices nothing after you switch it back on, until you open Available regions and turn on the ones you want. Integrations has the full list of what stops a region syncing, your organization’s billing included.
The line at the top of the account
An account that needs your attention opens with a banner. Reconnection required is the recoverable one and Account deactivated is not, and the line under either one names what actually happened.
You do not have to be looking at this screen to find out. Repricer emails your organization’s owner and admins, and Integrations lists what each of those emails is about.
Messages you can get on this screen
What the first sync tells you about a region that did not come in
The dialog that opens when you connect an account lists any region that did not sync, one line each, with the region’s name and the reason.
download the error report under those lines gives you a CSV with one row per problem, naming the region and, where the trouble was one item, its SKU.
